Dear Well Wisher, If you see the comments given by DESHMUKH PARITOSH, Hinduism is not a religion it is a disciplined way of living. Our focus is on supreme, which need not be necessary in formless. We beleive in anient techniques like yoga, meditation, vastu etc. When you are praying to the supreme power, you need to concentrate on something, that is what we do idol workship. Even there is no need to for us to go to temple, we can concentrate in our mind and can pray. And temples is a cultural centres. And about conversion, in hinduism we never compell anyone to embrace our religion, its a way of living. I heard from one of my muslim friends, that the mullah in the mosque thought him that if he converts someone, he will go to heaven. I agree with you above comments, I am telling this this happens in every religion, that the example of the famous sitar maestos son who converted to hindu. Dont go with the statisticcs, who is converting in to what. At the end of the day find out how we human beings are living together. The religion is not giving a hungry person , a time food. You can see the beggers getting qued up in fron of mosque, temple or church. Our topic is why your beleif spreads so much of hatred. No other religion sends human bombs in the name of religion. No other religion spreads so much hate like Islam.
