Serious questions for you...hope you can answer them.
My younger brother was interested in joining the army as a Mechanical Engineer.....he went through the various rounds of interviews....and finally there was this camp in Varanasi. At the camp, they graded all the performers into A, B & C grades. After the grading they did away with all the 'A' & 'C' grades, my brother was in the 'A' grade. Those that were finally offered the positions in the general category were all from the 'B' grade.
My questions - 1. Is that the preferred practice in recruitment? Getting away from the 'A' graders ie. 2. When the 'A' graders enquired about the reasoning, the army just stated that they didn't think of the 'A' graders as a long term asset.....and they thought they were very likely to quit the army after a short stint. Again is this true?
