Rediff has insulted the presidents before Kalam by calling him as the best president. There is no doubt that he is one of the best scientist in India. He was famous before he became president and it was just that fame which made his position noticed. Other than that can anybody point out a single extraordinary decission which he took as a president.
We had a president called K.R.Narayanan before him. He is the only president who refused to sign on the cabinet's decission to dismis a state government. that too he did it twice and proved the political parties that the President is not a rubber stamp, which they can misuse for their political gains.
