One basic check to identify a scam is to check the e-mail address of the sender. Most companies/organisations worth their salt will have their organisation name in the address.They will not use yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, etc. Also, the suffix will often identify the domicile of the sender (eg, .uk, .in, etc.) which may contradict the contents of the message) R.Narayan.
