Missing the Point
by Subhasish Ghosh on Jul 17, 2007 01:35 AM

It is disaapointing to see so many people missing the point as much it is to see the amount of time the Govt took to pull up its socks.

Law will determine their deeds and its punsihment, but what is important is they were Indian citzens. And whether we as a nation own up to the responsibility. Personally, I think, after the respective Aus and Uk govts have had their share of grilling and chargesheeting, they shold be brought to justice on our soil and be shown by example. Being in AUs or Uk , it puts them and us at a disadvantage about whats really going on or whether they are being unduly charged and labelling our country along with it. While providing SIM and abetting terrorists is grave, I hope they are not being labelled terrorists for being greedy. I still cant beleive our country is capable of producing terrorists who have intentions of causing harm on other lands. Our culture is simply too strong for that......

The PM did the right thing in putting the respective govts on notice.
