The Government of India has no clearcut policy to fight terrorist actvities.Our policies in all sphers of activities are influenced by short term benefits that too in the day to day politics.Various extraneous considerations of religion,caste and creed play their part which our politicians think an important factor to catch votes in the elections.The people at the helm have no vision and they do not allow the administration to move as per the book.Political interference at every stage is the bane.The power is concentrated in the hands of those people who are selfcentred and who further nepotism.All schemes for the alleviation of poverty and social discrimination have taken a back seat.Political will is conspicuously lacking in dealing with terrorism.Our Government should shed complacency and deal with this problem ruthlessly to avoid any future disaster
