During NDA's rule it was decided that all MP's should declare assets. But they did not include President and VP's office in that list. Had they included these 2 offices, it would have been natural and mandatory for all Presidential contestants to declare their assets.
And there would not have been any need for any party pushing others to declare the assets.
But NDA did not do it. Hence there was any need.
And if you think Sh Shekhawat was so honest, he should have declared form the day 1, on the very day of his filing of nomination. Infact it should have been part of the document set.
But he is trying to win little brownie when the counter attack has been made on him for his "direct" role or non of it in the Indian Freedom Struggle.
And he is yet to declare that !
Read the article carefully. Tuesday is tomorrow ( morning).
So do not be impatient.
You have assumed as if he declared a month back and Pratibha is yet to do it!!
