RE:Don't confuse other Struggles with Religious Terrorism
by Trivikram Singaraju on Jul 07, 2007 11:13 AM

Point-wise: 1) What did the government of Andhra Pradesh or any class in AP do to the Maoists that they are waging war against them and preventing development in Telangana districts thus making the development deprived public to demand for splitting a mother-like state?

2) Who disturbed the lives of north-east tribals and their way of life? Is it christian missionaries or the Hindu's miles away in rest of India? What have we Hindus got to do with it? Wont you call it a religious war? The tribals were priorly very much a part of our Hindu fabric, but now after embracing christianity they started fighting? How is this not a religious war?

3) Are Gulisthan terrorists not an example of religious extremism that they want a seperate country altogther for Sikhs? Did they not target and butcher Hindus on the streets of Punjab?

4) If a bomb blows up in Srinagar, will you call it a fight for Kashmiri nationhood or Islamic terrorism? How can you seperate both? Same anology applies to the Hindu-tamils who cannot live or resolve differences with Sinhali-buddhists non-violently. Its not political war...it is very much racial, linguistic and communalistic. How can we as Hindus sympathise the LTTE?

See if you start justifying and differentiating the use of violence from one terrorist act/outfit to another, then one would be compelled to question the credibility of such a perspective. My point is, regardless of the motive or leanings, violence and terror in all forms and shapes shoul
