Only 50 years ago muslims children in maharashtra used to study in Marathi which helped them to be part of the mainstream. Today they go Urdu schools, attend Madrssas get Arabic culture infused in their mind which alienate them from Indian culture. If Sri Lankan & Indian christians keep Indian names why can't Indian muslims keep Indian names. Being Indians, how many Indian muslims consider Vedas & hudreds of outstanding Sanskrit scriptures as their own treasure. But they cannot see anything beyond Koran which was created on forign land while Sanskrit scripture were created on our soil. Muslims must learn to respect their own Indian treasure and culture.
