There is a big difference between being tolerant to a legitimate religion and opposing a hate cult. Islam is a hate cult and deserves to be opposed.
Have you for one moment wondered why people on this board don't show any hatred towards other ideologies/religions? The founder of Islam had no respect for the religion and culture of the Arab pagans and Jews in Mecca and many muslims regard him as the model citizen (al-insan-al-kamil).
Tolerance towards other religions and cultures is an Indian virtue. However, any religion that believes in its inherent supremacy and encourages hate towards disbelievers does not deserve to be tolerated.
