No, I am not advocate tolerating murderers and criminals. I am not advocating a soft state. I am not saying that if a Jihadis comes around with a gun, do pranam in front of him and let him exterminate you and your family. I am not saying any of these things.
All I am saying is that hatred is always bad. Focus on what makes you great, not on the base instincts of humanity. We have to build a new India based on prosperity and the rule of law. If someone commits a crime for whatever reason, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Law is based on accountability and justice, not on revenge.
What you seem to be suggesting is settling historical scores. That is revenge and can only lead to anachy.
