Some people never learn from past. They have seen it in the past that freedom to extremists have brought only doom to them. As an old Kannada saying says " Tannolagina kicchu tanna suttallade, neremaneya sudadu koodalasangamadeva" meaning the fire within oneself burns the self first but not the neighbour.
