Bombays infrastructure and citizens's problems
by Neetiyath Mohan on Jul 03, 2007 07:46 PM

First of all we should understand that Mumbais' geographical location and surroundings. It's like an island and during "high tide", water comes inside and if it happens during heavy rain period, it makes it difficult to pump out the water. These things were happening in the past too -- say for the last many many years and those time "media' was not very active or equipped to cover the happenings as of today. Saying that, it does'nt mean that we have to sit and watch, every year municipality tries their best and comes up with new plans/ideas,but is not able to cope up with times/requirement. Nevertheless, I believe that the development plans being undertaken by the authorities, will bring results after 2-3years. Being a crowded city, filled to its neck, its difficult to execute the difficult jobs as scheduled, but time will show the result and be optimistic about the results. Let's all support the administrators and sometime throw few good words also for the massive and diffcult works being done by them. If we talk about the inflaw, it becomes a "political issue", so let us not discuss it, but be co-operative in their good thinking and plans for a better Mumbai in the years to come.
Mohan, Pune
