I wish Mr. Noel had shown more sensitivity to the issue. Rather than launching a testortone laden tirade against women and generalising and trivialising, he could have tried to understand, that it was an individual who committed suicide and not the entire female gender.
Even men soldiers commit suicide, but do you start blaming the entire male gender and label them as nincompoop?
After ages of suppression, Women are striving to come to terms and try to live as equals with men in the modern era, I think, we should be supportive of them and not belittle them for not being equal to task matching men in mundane tasks.
Bet Mr. Noel cannot match women working in the kitchen, raising a family, nourishing, cherishing, caring, keeping the family together.
Mr. Noel, let us look at all the good points in women and ignore those little things they are not good at. It is nature. We are good at certain things, they are good at others. So why trash them?
I say aye to all those women who wish to join predominantly male dominated fields and hope conditions are made conducive for them to succeed. And also hope they do not get discouraged by senseless verbal putdowners against them but take it as a challenge to prove the entire world wrong.
