Dear Sir, The first sentence that comes to my mind when I hear your name is "Here is our president. Person who is not a politician but a man with mission". Young INDIA is lucky and proud to see such person at President Position.
Mr. President, I have some thoughts to share. What presently young INDIA needs is information on developments in INDIA. When we read news papers we always read about negative accidents in INDIA mainly on corruption. We read about bad politicians, corrupted employees, sports men loosing games etc etc. Even what we watch in news channels is same with more effective and sometimes.
When any individual reads or watches such happenings, he or she feels that "No improvements can happen in INDIA. Just leave it". These kinds of publishing negative events makes young INDIA less proud. It makes them to look abroad for opportunities.
My personnel opinion is media should concentrate on positive growth that are happening in DREAM INDIA. INDIA is doing more than great in many areas. But such things are printed in side columns. Instead such events should be shown as "Head Lines". As of now none of the media (news paper or news channels) does it including our own national channel.
As we know that media plays a big part in the development of a country. Just imagine how any INDIAN feels if he/she sees headlines like "INDIA LAUNCHED NEW SATELLITE,. INDIA SCIENTIST FOUND NEW LIGHT AIRCRAFT".
We feel very proud when we listen to your speech or read your articles. We feel happy when INDIA makes even small growth. Why it%u2019s not possible to publish similar articles every day with more color? Why can%u2019t such events be given more celebrity? Why there is no courage for such events.
What an INDIAN missing is a small ignition called motivation towards patriotism. I think media can do that in few timeline.
If media plays its role I think we can reach DEVELOPED INDIA in 2015 itself. "Words are more effective than sword".
Thanks to Mr. President for your precious time.
Thanks to Rediff for providing a stage to publish the thoughts.
