Realistic
by Niru on Jan 07, 2007 10:40 PM

Yes

The author has described a realistic view of the situation, especially at the Delhi domestic airport. I have experienced almost every incident described by him.

No courtesy : The bus drivers veer through the airport roads and horn loudly. Even among them there is a competetion to reach first. I was holding my 4 month old son and no one in the bus let me get down, later on I gave my son to my aunt and literally blocked the door in the bus and let my aunt get down peacefully. I should say there were some in the bus who managed to get me a seat. I live in the US and once when I opened door for a lady at a coffee shop she said "Your mother has taught you values, brought you up good". I told that to my mom, she was embarassed that she did not teach me that particularly..Anyways courtesy should be a part of upbringing.Afterall, thats our Indian value.
