Every word you said is true. Added to this is Deccan Air's great idea of not providing seat numbers. So there's a mad rush, each time their flights are announced for departure. Cost saving & making it simple are O.K. but next we will probably have wait listed passengers who may be given the option of sitting on the floor & short haul passengers can even stand & travel.
