It is very sad to read a comment like this. The gentleman who has written article has forgotten the actual history or would have been influenced by the communist history. It is known to every one that it was the congress that actually incited and propelled the rise of people who took over the golden temple. If one has to blame the terrorist problems of Punjab than history is a witness that it was the act of congress which aided and abated the men who caused violence in Punjab.
The defeat of the Congress has nothing to do with the issue of terrorism but has to do more with the common man . The poll plank of congress COMMON MAN%u2019s government is lost in the vindictive policies of the state government. The then Congress government has spent more time in thinking how to finish the opponents than about the development of the state , and the answer to such an thinking was a No vote by the people.
