first thing..RCI was founded by him and its very good. You just cant say ISRO and DRDO has not achieved any thing extraordinary..Look at any other third world countries..who has better space programs and missile technology? Just google for top space programs..you find India among top. We have to be proud of these institutions for there achievements in limited resources. I totally accept the other institutions are equally good. But the world watches ur Defense and space programms. That creates shivers in ur enemy's spine. Thats the face of India's defence. Mr. Gurumurthy once quoted " This is a world of rouges. India is noble country. Nobility is respected only when it is powerful." Iam quoting this beacuse ..world dont respect you when you dont have power to defend. The Nuclear techonlogy gives us the strength. But again we are noble eneough to say that We dont bomb other first. And about patents..I too havent seen any patents on his name. But he was working for govt of India as the director or whatever. I guess he had more important things to deal with...But we all know what he is capable of.
Finally if you say what are his achievements apart from visions..he made sure that the seeds he planted are taken care of..i mean..he made sure those organisations work effectively even when he is not present at those organisations..
