Sam, I am surprised at your peurile analogy. Kung-fu is not a Buddhist way of life as opposed to Yoga and meditation which are essentially Hindu way of life. Yoga starts with the chant of 'Om' invoking the lord (essentially a Hindu lord).So an overwhelming number of westerners are deeply influenced by Hinduism. Further, please do not ignore the ISKCON movement. It is a movement by the westerners, for the westerners, and by far the most active evangelical organization in North America. In a lighter vein, let me tell you that anybody who is a terrorist is not a Muslim by the same Karate analogy because terrorism is not an Islamic way of life. I would welcome a healthy intellectual debate and a mere rant is not welcome.
