I did not defend anything which is wrong with muslims in India or anywhere else. I only wanted to make a point that the origninal rediff article had nothing which should have invited muslim bashing in first place. The fact taht a muslim of Indian origin was selected to head some apex body in Australia has got nothing to do with terrorism or Islam. I did not understand why anything to do with muslims or Islam even if it is good invites muslim bashing and people start writing comments filled with hatered. And I am assumingthat only educated people browse thru internet and read these articles. ALl this hue and cry and muslim bashing did not deter lot of people in western world to embrace Isalm as I am writing this. I don't want to get into statistics about which religion is having more population in west. I had been to Germany and seen one ad for teaching Yoga and had taken its snap as I was happy that Indian culture is spreading all over. Meeting an Indian in foriegn land brings smile on my face even if he may not be a muslim. I think in todays day and age when everyone is so stressed out there is no point in spreading -ve emotions by writing posts filled with hatered. Correct me if I am wrong but I see muslim bashing taking place all the time in rediff messsage boards regardless of the content of article which is not good for anybody.
