industrialisation.
by Subash Mittal on Feb 25, 2007 03:23 PM

The industrialised states compared to bengal also acquired land for industry and these states have a clear policy for land required for industry instead of the much hyped land reforms of bengal. Leftists are admitting their mistakes in 1980-1990(s).What if...if another leftist leader find the present policies wrong after 10-15 years. Shamik's pain is understandable....but Shamik(s) never try to understand the pain and agony of poor and marginal farmers of singur or nandigram. State can develop remote areas and offer to industry. The singur deal is not transparent..... hide and seek policy adopted by the state is one reason it's not act is not getting through. Left Front controlling the state govt. declared that no further land will be acquired for next three months, obviously it has found serious defects in the process of land acquired so far. To Shamik: you are not in this part of the world...so u know less and u rightly admitted that you may be wrong...do not accuse Mamata Banerjee or Stand with Bhuddha Babu without knowing the ground realities.
