Stop wasting the precious power

We often see mega shows in Mumbai from film personalities, TV channels. Recently we saw a mega event of IDEA SAREGAMAPA at Shahaji Raje Krida Sankul in Mumbai. In the programme there was lot of light effects and bright lightings. I think this is a shear wastage of power. When many of the towns, villages and industrial units in Maharashtra are going through high power cuts, which is ultimately disturbing the daily life of many people. I want to ask whether it is wise to go for such events in the current power crisis. There are going to be more power cuts hence forth till the Monsoon starts. I urge the sponsorers and organisers to think over it and act accordingly.
