Modes of transport such as buses, airlines have emergency exits. Ships/yachts have safety rafts. WHY DOESN'T RAILWAY COMPARTMENT HAVE EMERGENCY EXITS? Surely there can be two emergency exits in each compartment.
Every window has a metal grill and this makes the compartment a tomb when there is fire near both entrances to the compartment. People between the entrances are TRAPPED.
Lets fight for this simple facility while we hunt down the cuplrits and hang them.
