Re: Corrupt India
by hari rao on Feb 18, 2007 07:56 PM

Well this looks promising for India on paper or the internet. But what Mr. Volcker doesnot understand that the law enforcement agencies have failed to take any kind of action. Mr. Natwar's ouster snowballed into a political issue and obviously our dirty politicians (that includes the opposition too) were trying to gain political mileage out of the whole issue. Finally Mr. Natwar and his croonies go scotfree like many others we have seen in the past. Mr. Natwar is currently busy trying to switch parties but factually he should have been disqualified from holding any kind of political post and he should be cooling his heels in a prison right now. What do we need to change this country? God save this country!
