Apart from Telugu which is the main language, Dakhni - the distinct Hyderabadi mix of Urdu and Hindi - is spoken widely in Telangana. Telugu spoken in Telangana is quite different in accent and vocabulary from that of the rest of Andhra Pradesh. Wonder why would people change the languages they've been using for centuries if a seperate state is formed! Coming to the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, which are in the Telangana region, apart from Telugu and the Hyderabadi Urdu/Hindi, languages like Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali will also be continued to be spoken widely. After all there are lakhs and lakhs of Marathas and Punjabis in the city.
