RE:Untangling myth from fiction: Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb's Reign of Power
by damien martin on Feb 16, 2007 08:33 PM

The taxation most hindus tax about is JIZIYA.But how many of them know the meaning of this. Muslims by islamic law have to pay ZAKATH (Tax to the poor). So the hindus on the other hand had to pay JIZIYA ( a tax for protection from the state). But the polititians distort these terms and spread it in masses to gain political milage. Read famous historians u ll know that Aurangzeb was a true ruler he did noot waste money in building architectural monuments(infact he was the most powerful rulers of mughals his kingdom expanding to most part of india). U guyz who r shouting so much in this box how many of u have actually done research on this subject. U guyz are biased and just shout with out knowing the truth. If u want to know the truth the read historians like akhliesh mittal etc ull know the truth.
