You seem to be not knowing the present situation prevailing in India. You have quoted about France, Germany and other countries where people have forgiven each other and live hand in hand. We indians have more tolerance than those Europeans, and we have been living as brothers and Sisters in a multi-religious, secular country. But the problem in our country is that, a few self proclaimed protectors of Religions do not allow us to live in a harmonious way, they will rake up this issue of Aurangazeb's atrocities and make the illiterate population(their followers)think that the muslims of today are the direct descendants of Aurangazeb, and will unleash violence on these innocent people. We do not want to have more problems in India. Already we have enough and more problems to be solved which are hampering the growth of our country.
I think, you do not know the meaning of Pastoral prudence. Nehru knew this, that is why he has hidden the truth about Aurangazeb, and has asked people to praise him. He wanted an united India where everybody lives happily hand in hand. We Indians are not bothered about burying certain harmful truths which would hamper our harmony than proclaiming them openly and suffer a lot. Let our sufferingg be over with this. Even if we are proclaiming the false things about Aurangazeb, and promote religious harmony, let us also be false an be happy. Please do not rake up this "so called truth" and put us in trouble. You have your findings with you, and bury them within yourself. We are not interested in your truth. We are interested in the unity of our country and the happiness of our own people.
