In these matters one should be extremely careful since we have had enough of "secular" historians like Romila Thapar who were given full freedom to write by our Socialst Nehru! Perhaps Dr Pande was one amoung them.Ohterwise it is well known about Aurangzeb and his atrocities! Remember the beheading of Sikh Guru?
