Brilliant article and effort by Francois Gautier. With all the politicial correctness and calculations of the day, an Indian would not do this today or would not be allowed or live to do it. Why rake up the past? The standard question from politicians and cowards of all hues and the answer in George Santanaya's words is 'Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it'. Indian heritage is really spectacular and very, very unique in its vision and practice. The only reason we Indians lost it time and time again is we do not understand and respect it enough and the only reason it survived us is that it is too powerful to be destroyed by uncaring Indians.
