Aurangzeb
by hisham ahmad on Feb 16, 2007 02:30 PM

Aurangzeb ruled India for over 50 years. His empire was bigger than that of Akbar. There were many a hindu in his court.Indian culture flourished under him.But he was a devout muslim.Criticising him is easy for us but does any one know that he used to sew caps and write the quran for a living. He did not take money fom the state treasure.Francois Gautier and many like him try to tell our history to us.They would do better if they did something about their own imperial misdeeds like the Algerian massacre by the French in which 55000 algiers were killed by the french.
