Dude, the minute we become a hindu state,we will start fighting with each other,northies Vs southies,upper castes Vs Dalits.You talk about hindus uniting,would you give your daughter/sister to a man from another cates or language.The term "Hindu" was coined by foreigners,our identity was given by foreigners,if ever we united in all those thousands of years that you talked about,it was against aprticular religion or people.If you make India a hindu country, there will be no "hindutva" left.We have a history of civilization in India for more than 5000 years,out of that hindu kings have been fighting against each other for more than 4000 years and split the country up in hundreds of seperate kingdoms.So the moral of the story my friend is not to expect miracles and love what we have right now.Be happy that ours is a secular state and is getting the attention of the world,through unity,hard work and tolerance.Not by quoting sanskrit verses.
