What Indians should think about this..
by on Feb 12, 2007 01:49 PM

Guys,

Most of us are not directly (Indirectly due to the dispute/bundh yes ) impacted by this virdict and most of us do not have a detail knowledge on this episode to talk about. Let's leave this blame game behind and look for a better future and a better India. It's been quite some time we all part of the community who were hounded by this division/dispute..

The problem of sharing water persists irrespective what the decision is going to be that's not the solution and blaming each other is not going to solve the problem. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has a rich heritage and culture and we are proud of that and same for the other states of the India.

If we are really thinking about the betterment of India we should think what we need to do as a Country to resolve this issue.. Well everyone agrees that there is shortage of Water in South India and There is plenty of Water in Northern part of India (Infact it's causing lot havoc during the rainy season and thousands are getting impacted by floods). We as a country should enforce government to work on %u201CLinking of River%u201D project. Well that%u2019s kind of resolves lots of problems the common people are facing today.

How many years we have spent setting up tribunal to study the problem.. How many hours of our Assembly and Parliament spent discussing this issue still the solution is not to the satisfaction of common people. I do not think we as a country spent enough time discussing how to resolve this issue as a whole%u2026

One of the solution what I can think of is Speed up the Project and set up working committees who can set up Right planning / Infrastructure to Link the wealth of Natural resources India posses and spread it to the all part of the nation %u2026

Guys.. let%u2019s think in these lines and make sure that it reaches our leaders who are making decision for the country%u2026

Regards,
Indian%u2026
