Your argument is flawed on several counts. I want to drawur attention to the Indus water traty betewwn Indian and Pakistan which has withstood despite 4 wars . As per International Law, the lower riparian state is entitled to claim rights over the river flowing through its area. It is not the upper riparian state arrogates to itself all the waters and treats the lower riparian state as some drainage outlet
