Mahesh and Yogesh, your posts indicate a clear indifference and repulsiveness to people from Northern India. You have your grievances due to demographic changes and imposition of segments of a culture. Let's remember that people in Northern India have been through tumultuous times against invasions of savage kind in the past from a particular religious group. They took the brunt of it and saved a large part of your ancient culture that you now call Kannad or Tamil or whatever it is. While doing this their ways have gone through drastic changes from rest of India due to the constant subjugations that followed the invasion. Respect them for it, instead of trying to digress them by queries of why they not stay in their states or whatever, and you must understand their any aggressive mindset or turmoil in their regions(UP and Bihar contributed richly to Indian culture more than any other region and look at their deprivation now) from Historic perspective, which in effect has given to regional chauvinism among those in southern India as a defensive mechanism. They will find a reason and you will find one to co-exist by sharing values which will help eachother in regaining the "lost" confidence. I hope you understand what i am trying to tell. Instead of being repulsive, forge bonds. They were not very different from you once. I am from south India too. Learn Hindi, it isn't a big deal. It will anyway revised slowly to include elements of other Indian languages to enrich itself.
