HINDI IS NOT THE ONLY NATIONAL LANGUAGE
by bharath raj on Feb 09, 2007 02:47 AM

Please refer back to the Indian constitution. Hindi is the official language for oral communication, while english is the same for written communication, according to the Indian constitution. As far as national language is concerned, India has 15 of them, of which Kannada is one and Hindi is also another. As far as North Indians in Bangalore are concerned, I would appreciate it if you were to first stop saying "kannad" and "karnatak". It's "kannada and karnataka". Let's not fight among ourselves. Everyone is doing their best for the country.
