Sir: Mr. Pranab Mukherjee is a very seasoned politicians who has handled various ministeries (NOT NECESSARILY EFFICIENTLY)over several decades now.
However, if Mr. Mukherjee thinks that America is going to listen to the Indian Stand, he is grossly mistaken. The Americans are the sole Super Power on the globe and they will do what they like. They been flouting International Opinion for decades and they will continue to do so.
Also, note that notwithstanding all the HYPE about India's economic power, India continues to be amongst the poorest of the poor. Sadly enough, a poor country like India has no real locus standi in the world polity.
