Managing Natural Resources
by on Feb 06, 2007 08:00 AM

It is the Constitutional duty of the elected Governments to prudently manage the available natural resources, be it water or anything else. The concerned Governments should not either politicise or take a linenient view of the subject but try to prudently keep the demand and supply parameters well balanced.

Bangalore being the hub of IT activity and the Technology nucleus of the country should at least now focus with an iron hand on 'Rain water harvesting' (if it rains!) and also solar power. Should be hell bent upon creating awareness on energy conservation elements, rather than go on fighting cases in tribunal. Of course so is Tamil Nadu.

It is the duty of every State within the Union of India to maintain harmony with the neighbours and not demark on language and other issues. All are citizens of the same country.

Who is interested in participating 'Stupid Bandh', which is detriment Constitutional ban on organising 'Band', by stopping our daily activity.

Thanks,

K Jagadish
