This is not true. It may be noticed that Tamil nadu had received a greater share of water during the treaty dateing back to decades. But of late due to the erratic and fanatic attitude of Karnataka, this has been consideratly reduced. Giving the surplus water is no justification. Also it may be noted that most of the percentage of water mentioned in the present decree comes from the catchment area in Tamilnadu. Karnataka has no need to regret for the same. The number 400 looks big, but Karnataka would only need to release the surplus water to reach this figure. So who is the biggest loser? Who has really been benefitted? Who has really been shown consideration and favouritism.
