- Cauvery's total rain water catchment is 740 TMC. This includes areas in TN & Karnataka. - TN to get 419 TMC. - Karnataka to get 270 TMC. - of 419 TMC TN will get 192 TMC from Karnataka, and the rest (227 TMC) from its own rain catchment areas. - This 192 TMC (that TN to get for KA) will be measured from TN border and it is not very high from what is getting, which means Karnataka is not going to loose something much.
