Being a Mumbaikar (including non-marathi speaking people), pl. be proud to be a Mumbaikar and hence always utter "MUMBAI" How you call "CHENNAI" without fail instead "Madras". So pl. follow the same. I strictly suggest pl. call "MUMBAI". Mumbai is of everybody.
