Morality has not disappeard from our country. But it degraded considerably. While the near 2 digit growth of the economy has made us an economic super power, it has in its wake fuelled a lot of negetive things. Its upto us country men to stop this slide of moral degradation. Another thing that is conspiciously missing is manners, especially among the younger brigade. Today except in the very best schools, not much attention is given to developing good manners. All the time & resources are devoted to gaining the maximum marks at the plus-2 level. Any all is not lost. Like Lt.General Thapan, there are many Indians who are siezed of the situation & course correction is in process.
