This utterly stupid on the part of the student as well as the party/ groups that he belongs. Why so much emotional in creating a state? Are they demanding to liberate from the country? This linguistic basis for dividing the country is proving to be more dangerous to the unity of India. No doubt we require more states now than in 1947 due to population growth but for a better admistration and not for a narrow regional feeling.We lack national leaders and depend on petty politicians to run our country. Let us unite first on the language basis (with a 3 -language formula)/ well -meaning political system with a 2 or 3 national parties and then think of creating additional states from large states like AP. I only hope that India will see the light of a able political leader of national stature soon or else all our good efforts in the economical/educational field will be lost thru all these petty inter-state squabbles.
