RE:Guruswamy and Gautier are both 100% right about Benazir

I accept that there is some truth in the corruption and hosting Taleban, but allegations like she personally delivered the Nuclear CD to North Korea is not true. AQ Khan set up a company on his own head-quartered in Dubai for nuclear tech dissemination. Undeniably, she waved a green flag for some anti-India activities in Kashmir, but for now she represented the best hope for Pakistan. If you dig deep, every politician has an ugly past, but one needs to judge them by their records in entirety. If she elected president, she would have allowed IAEA question AQ Khan, make some improvements in the India-Pak relations (if not solve the Kashmir issue), reformed biases against women and other religions in Pak constitution, etc. If you think about which Prez had made significant progress in peace process, it is Musharaff, who single-handedly master minded the Kargil conflict. Infact, many Indian delegates feel more comfortable with dealing with him. So there isnt much merit in pointing out the ONLY the past in any leaders' profile.
