As usual, it is left to the indomitable Shri Gautier to tell the plain truth, while most of 'elite' India, from the PM and Benazir's clasmates and cronies from Harvard and Oxford, are busy braying out the fiction of what a 'great chanmpion of democracy' Benazir was. It is funny to see even LK Advani fall for this stupid reasoning. He still hasn't shed his 'secular Jinnah' hangover, it seems. Let us get this straight - every Pakistani leader hates Hindus and India. All the talk of Benazir's 'democratic' credentials are just hot air. Her husband Zardar is Mr 10%, her party is a typical dynastic firfdom - why else is this Bilal chap the PPP's new head - and her anti-Hindu, anti-India record will not be washed away. We are sad that the life of a woman was cut down so brutally, but one has always to pay for one's karma.
