unnecessary controversy
by Pavan Kumar Pillutla on Dec 30, 2007 06:45 PM

In my opinion Benazir Bhutto's death is a terrorist act and definitely not accidental as claimed by Mussharaf and co.
I think the Pak govt. is shamelessly trying to defend itself by undermining the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. She was the only hope of democracy in Pakistan despite her failure as PM before. In Benazir's death, Pakistan has definitely lost their road to democracy and development and has reached a dead end. There is no denying that Benazir Bhutto was assassinated by fellows who do not want democracy/development in Pakistan. It is high time Pakistan realizes this truth and start all over again. The road to recovery is tough but not impossible. Pakistanis are fighters by nature. They should get/take inspiration from the Pakistan cricket team who bounced back from defeat to draw the last two test matches against India. Every Pakistani has to take the responsibility and should contribute in the 'road to recovery of Pakistan' - the slogan for another 10-15 years.
