Thathagata Mukherjee please talk to christians who are not in cities. you did not understand what i wrote. caste difference do not go with change in religion. my christian friend in tamilnadu is a nadar by caste he fell in love with a girl of another caste but is a christian from fisherman's caste in kanyakumari. he parents did not allow him to get married because they said they belong to a inferior caste even though she is a christian. this is a true story and as per him and by all christians in south caste is followed by christians. in kerala fisherman caste christians are considered low by other christians and belong to latin catholic. so better educate yourself about caste. caste was a creation of people in india during ancient times to enjoy better previledge by one profession over another who belong to another profession with the support of the kings. buddhist who are in india and other countries like thailand has caste like brahims, this is told to me by my colleauge who is an englishman who married a thailand buddist girl who he says is brahim and is considered superior. so better educate yourself by talking to more people and not just to communists.
