In 1982 BJP has only 2 seats in Parliament. One is Advani and the other is Mr. Janga Reddy from hanumakonda in Telangana. BJP was always getting between 15-20% votes in Telangana since 80's. But BJP betrayed the telangana people by not reinstating the promised telangana state. It has done so to lick chandrababus ass. Since then BJP vote share fallen to less than 2%. Had they formed Telangana state, Telangana would have been their first state to victory in South.
