Turmoil In Pakistan
by Pawan Hansoti on Dec 30, 2007 05:19 PM

Just the other day, I was watching the talk show "Big Fight" on NDTV, where Indian political pundits spoke about the impact political developments in Pakistan will have on India, no one spoke about the impact of political developments in India on Pakistan.

In India they just had a fair and honest election in two states and the opposition BJP won with thumping majorities. The Pakistanis across the border are seeing all things and are well aware of the benefits and the all round developments that have accured to India and the Indian masses. They are agitated and angry with their rulers for not giving them the same level of transparency, accountability and opportunity to participate in the governence of the country as in India. This is the main resons for all the turmoil that we are seeing in Pakistan today.
