Rise of Mohajir Power is Significant
by outspoken on Dec 29, 2007 11:48 AM

One new dimension of the Pakistan politics that has gone largely unnoticed is the rise of the Mohajirs, the immigrants from Indian heart land. Sidelined and dominated by the Punjabi lobbies and Sindh lobbies of other two big parties Mohajirs were voiceless for long and under unseen subjugation. The rise of Musharaff represents the rise of Mohajirs adding a third pole in Pak politics. Adding military as another power centre. There are 4 power centres now who are all power seeking groups.

With 2 national parties failing to hold the nation together, there is nothing unfair in expecting that a Mojahir can steer Pakistan ahead in these turbulent times.
